You Deliver Me Promo Tour July 14th – Day 3

You Deliver Me Promo Tour July 14th, Day 3

Wake up call was at 5:15 AM yesterday! We flew Alaska Airlines from Denver to Seattle and arrived around 10AM. It’s all about the glamour. 🙂

Todd & Angie

Because I’m in a Christian music group I was on good behavior, but inside I was feeling very different!! Whenever I do show my “not so Christian side” it always turns out that the person right behind me is a huge Selah fan. It’s better to keep quiet, but I felt like Bill Cosby felt when he flew and sat right next to the little boy who said “I’m Jeffrey, I four years old” over and over and over again!!

Anyways, back to having it all together. We finally landed and drove through down town Seattle and onto Spirit 105.3. We had lunch with the whole station! The catering was incredible… thank you Liz and Mr. Curb!

Sarah and Angie

After we ate, we sang three songs and answered questions about the CD. Angie shared about Audrey and how we came to write Audrey’s song, I Will Carry You. I will share the story behind that song in a later post, and how it was never supposed to be on “You Deliver Me”.

Allan, Amy & Todd at Spirit 105.3

We weren’t planning on singing I Will Carry You, but after Angie talked it felt appropriate. Yesterday was really special. We felt like we really connected with the staff at Spirit, and they were so welcoming to us. They recorded our time together, and will air it at a later date. We will let you know when they do.

We had a little down time so we went down town Seattle! What a great city! Angie went to Nordstrom’s and we found Marble Slab Ice Cream! The coffee/chocolate/Heathbar/KitKat combo is really good! Don’t tell my wife!

Then it was back to SEATAC International for our flight to Sacramento. We will be at K-LOVE today at 11:30AM PST.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers…Todd

I just want you to know how much your music means to me. I have been a fan since the beginning. Your music and your voices, along with the lyrics, speak to my heart and touch my heart. Thank you for keeping it real and staying true to the Biblical values you sing of.

    God bless you all!

I discovered Selah three years ago and it has been such a blessing in my life, I have shared your songs with my friends here in Togo, in West Africa. And I really hope that someday soon you will have a concert in somewhere in Africa…there is a great need for your ministry in our countries. God bless you and keep up the good work.
