On The Road Again

Last night we did our 5th of 5 shows in Scottsbluff, NE.

We were in Grand Island, NE the night before!

Bismarck, ND the day before. It’s May and it was snowing in Bismarck!

Even though it was cold it was one of our favorite audiences on the tour! They were engaged and connected the whole time. They even laughed at all Shaun Groves jokes which is saying a lot.

Shaun and I have enjoyed picking on each other throughout the whole tour. He is one of the most decent people I know. He is a preacher, he has a huge heart for the Compassion children he shares about every night,

and he’s got a great dry sense of humor! If you enjoy singer/songwriters you’ll want to get his new CD Third World Symphony. It’s only $5!

Aaron Shust finishes the first half with his band. Aaron has a great heart and is very sincere. He really wants to honor God and make sure He gets all the glory. He has a new worship CD coming out August 23rd (same day as ours). The title track Take Over, is one of my favorites, which you can pre-order now!

To unwind Aaron and Shaun have to sing White Cross songs EVERY NIGHT on the bus:) Day one was fine, day 11, come oooonnnn! Also pictured Weston, Duffy, Nate, and Ben.

We have a new CD Hope of the Broken World which you can pre-order now.

It’s been fun doing our new songs. You never know how people are going to react. We’ve been doing three of them. Shelter Me is a bluesy, dirty, sittin’ on the porch song. Hope of the Broken World is very reflective on who God is. I Look To You is our power ballad. Amy sings lead on it and has been Amazing!! She hits notes that are illegal and she’s received a standing ovation every time she’s sung it.

Compassion has been a huge part of this tour and so far 650 kids have been sponsored by these incredible people who’ve come to our concerts! That is 650 lives changed so far, and when you multiply that by their family members and the impact those kids will make on their community’s it’s immeasurable.

Now for the 20 hr drive home. Friday May 6th we’re at St. Matthew Church in Glendale Heights, IL, and Saturday May 7th at Chillicothe Baptist Church in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Thank you to everyone who has come out to see us,

Todd

I just wanted you to know that I was one of the enthusiastic worshipers in the audience in Bismarck, ND, on Saturday night, and I more-than-enjoyed your concert! OUTSTANDING! I drove through the blizzard (yes, a blizzard warning on April 30th!) to see you all perform, as I have been a fan of yours for years. Your music and testimonies gave me a sense of renewal and depth of connection with God and my faith. Thank you for moving me to tears, for reminding me that God is in control, and for introducing me to Compassion International. I left the show with a commitment to sponsor young Raul from Cambodia. I just knew that my efforts to get to your concert in that dangerous storm were for a reason larger than my love for your music and your messages. Raul’s life will be changed! God Bless! Do come back to Bismarck!

I met you at the Concert in Chillicothe, Ohio this evening. I wanted to let you know that your songs were such a blessing to me. Amy, your testimony, I believe was for me. I have struggled with my weight for years just like you, your words sounded like mine or gave mine a voice. You know what is sad, I have never thought to give it over to God. I wish you the best with the continued weight loss, you look amazing. You made my feet hurt(worse than they do, I have a broken foot, lol) looking at you in those heels. Thank you, thank you, thank you all for coming to Chillicothe. Please come again! Aaron and Shaun, Thank you. Your songs were wonderful. May God give you traveling mercies and continue to bless all of you.

Thank You so much for dedicating your last song of the night (Scottsbluff, NE) to me. It felt like you were singing a tribute to my wonderful husband Bob (now with the Lord). Meeting you and being able to thank you face to face fore the way you had blessed and ministered to Bob through your music(You Raise Me Up) was like being handed a Gift From God.
The manager at the radio station(KCMI) has ask me to write the whole story (for there monthly news paper), of what started as a Anniversary gift (your cd) over a year ago and the things God orchastrated that led from that gift to the concert (over a year later) in Scottsbluff and my getting to thank you, and the very special memorial gift that allows Bob to live on. If there is any way I could share that with you (when finished) please let me know how I could get a copy to you. I thank God for you and the special way He used you in our lives. We played “You Raise Me Up” at Bobs service, it was so right! Because of Him, Karren Reed “God Is So Very Faithful”

    Selah,
Your music allows me to feel the presence of God in ways that I never knew existed. The blessing of your vocals and your love for the Lord is so powerful! I can’t imagine how hard it must be to be away from your families during your tours. Thank you for your many sacrifices so that you may share with us true and heartfelt worship. May God bless you, and keep you safe as you travel and wrap His arms around yours loved ones when you are away. My children are even moved by your music. It brings tears to my eyes to hear my children belt out, “It is well with my soul!” Usually on our way to church we listen to “Esengo” it gets us up, awake and ready for worship! It’s so funny to hear each of us singing at the top of our lungs our own version of the song, none of us knowing really what we’re saying, but we know the Lord and His angels must be gettin’ a kick out of listening to us try! lol
My husband and I will be sharing your song, “Faithful One” with our congregation soon. I wish I could sing for you, and share with you what your voices have meant to me!
Again, thank you so much for everything you do to bring us your incredible music!

  5. Hey – love your music and your style.
I have a young friend who is currently writing some pretty inspired poetry, one of which I feel could be sung.
If you are interested, let me know and I can give you the link to his f/b page.

Your latest song is a real blessing.
