How many times have you heard that phrase?
“Old Habits Die Hard”
I’ve heard it a million times, I’m sure, but I’ve never really thought about it much. I’m kind of a creature of habit. (picture my hubby reading this and guffawing as he yells, “Kind of?”) So… truth be told, I’m kind of, really a lot, borderline obsessively, a creature of habit. I like things “just so” and like like them that way all the time. “A place for everything, and everything in its place.” I plan things out, schedule them, over schedule them, and so on and so forth. My husband laughs at me, but I tell him all the time, that my ability to organize and have things exactly where they need to be saves him time and money. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

I would like to get the sheet music to Selah’s acapella version of “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus”. How do I go about obtaining that music? I would like to use it as a call to worship. Thanks SO much for your ministry. God Bless you all!
Old Habits Die Hard is a perfect title for this…
I just wanted to thank you for the song “Unredeemed”. I have been having a few really hard weeks and then lost it on Monday and started cutting on myself after years of not doing it (talk about Old Habits Die Hard.) Anyway… I am getting some help, so no worries, although prayer is always welcome, but I just wanted to say, that today I was in the gym listening to a shuffle of Selah songs, and “Unredeemed” came on. Although I am not in a good place right now, it was a great thought of hope for tomorrow.
Blessings to you and your group… feel free to pass my thanks alot to them as well.
Yes they do! Old habits are so hard to get rid of for me too. I’m learning that I cannot change them all on my own. I believe it was Zig Ziglar that said something like change comes when you change your thinking and then your thinking changes into action…etc..
I think I make the mistake of not replacing my bad thoughts, habits with something else that changes my thinking first.
You are a blessing,
Lee Ann
