I’m a little bit crazy…

You think it’s never going to happen to you. People share their pregnancy stories and you think, “That won’t happen to me.” And then it does.

Last Monday was a day like any other day. I got up at 5:30 am, worked all day, and got home at 5 for chores. We got home late because Jake had to run an errand that I wasn’t particularly interested in running, so it makes me a little cranky. Then we got home and had piles of laundry and no food in the house, except my excessively large stash of sugar free pudding. So I started the laundry and asked Jake to keep an eye on it while I went grocery shopping. So far, so good.

Amy last weekend was my first time seeing you in concert at the Story Tour in Woodbridge VA. Boy, can you sing!!! I read all your blog posts a someone who battles weight as well… you are not alone, but may I say, you are further along in you journey than I at this time. I am scheduled for lapband Dec 30,2011. Please pray for me! Anyway, seven years ago I had gastric bypass at my highest weight 300+. I lost 110 pounds only to put it back on after courses of steriods and returning to my bad habits. Now I am on a strict diet before surgery. I realized yesterday, (day one of diet) that I am a major stress eater as I cried after Christmas shopping and not being able to find what my hubby wants, because I could not have DIET COKE! Hubby was drinking a COKE, son was eating dougnuts and I had WATER! But with the grace of God and a good nights sleep, things are better today. I hope you will keep me in prayer, as I will with you.

  2. Can’t wait to see you in Loveland. By far the greatest ,anointed, voice we have ever heard. Keep praising Jesus until He calls you home.
